Officers arrested two felons in a stolen vehicle and recovered a handgun, narcotics, and cash in the Chinatown/International District late Monday.
Police officers working in the 800 block of South King Street spotted a stolen vehicle around 11:45 PM. Officers pulled up to the gold Lexus RX-3 and found it occupied by two men, one 31-years-old and the other 33-years-old. The officers placed the two men under arrest and upon searching the 31-year-old found crack cocaine and methamphetamine as well as a pellet gun. Police searched the 33-year-old and found $1249, heroin, methamphetamine, and Oxycodone pills.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a loaded .380 handgun stuck between the seats. Both men are convicted felons and unable to legally possess firearms.
Police booked the suspects into King County Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, drug charges, weapons violations, and a $200,000 felony warrant for assault.
