#2021-133638/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 05-31-2021 at 0423 hours, a male victim was tasked with removing homeless persons from area. He was confronted by the angry suspect, who pulled a knife out of his pocket at slashed at the victim. Contact was not made, and the victim was not injured. He ran into a nearby building and called 911. Evidence was located and supported the victim’s story. Police located the suspect and placed him in custody after a positive ID by the victim. The knife was not located.
#2021-134353/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 05-31-2021 at 2130 hours, SPD responded to a Seattle Public School located in the 800 block of 33 Av E. The school principal provided evidence to officers of bias graffiti that had been drawn on the property in chalk. Due to the offensive nature of the graffiti, the principal cleaned the marking prior to police arrival. The photos were placed into evidence. This incident was screened and there are no known suspects at this time.
