#2021-145271/West Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-12-2021 at 0022 hours, officers responded to a reported shooting near First Avenue and Cherry Street. Upon arrival officers located a victim with a single gunshot wound to the chest. Officers began rendering aid until SFD arrived. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life threatening injuries.  

#2021-145395/Southwest Precinct/First Watch: On 6-12-2021 at 0517 hours, officers responded to a call in the 8700 block of Seventh Avenue South. According to the complainant, she saw two males on camera cutting a barbed wire fence in order to enter the property. Officers quickly arrived and found the two suspects attempting to commit a burglary and attempted theft of catalytic converters. The two suspects were placed in custody, and in their possession were two electric saws with their initials on them. The suspects also had bolt cutters. One of the suspects had a theft warrant out of Federal Way.  

#2021-145466/South Precinct/First Watch: On 6-12-2012 at 0745 hours, officers investigated a burglary in the 6600 block of Fourth Avenue South. During the burglary, the suspect used a small torch to set parts of the building on fire. The suspect was captured on surveillance video. Fire Marshall 5 responded to the scene due to the fire damage. Approximately two hours later, officers found the suspect as well as items stolen from the business. The suspect was transported to Harborview Medical Center for a medical issue and will be booked into jail. 

#2021-145668/West Precinct/Second Watch: On 6-12-2021 at 1226 hours, a vehicle in the area of 10th Avenue South and South Yesler Street was struck by gunfire. The victim reported that the person who shot at his car was someone he had a prior dispute with. An area search was conducted. The shooter remains at large. 

#2021-145568/Southwest Precinct/First Watch: On 6-12-2012 at 1008 hours, the victim was working on a house in the 7900 block of 34th Avenue Southwest when they saw a red Chevrolet pickup drive up. A man exited the vehicle. The man from the truck grabbed a rotary hammer tool kit from the back of the victim’s truck and placed it in the back of the Chevrolet. The victim jumped into the pickup bed, and the Chevrolet sped up. The victim was pleading for the suspect to stop, but he increased speed and started swerving. The suspect slowed the truck down at 30 Avenue Southwest and Southwest Trenton Street to make a turn. The victim grabbed his tool kit and jumped from the truck. The victim struck the ground and suffered a possible broken ankle, head injury, and abrasions on his knee. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An area search was conducted for the suspect vehicle, but it wasn’t located. The robbery unit was advised of the incident. 

#2021-145363/Southwest Precinct/First Watch: On 6-12-2021 at 0359 hours, the victim called 911 and reported he was threatened by a co-worker. The victim stated that he works at a restaurant on California Avenue Southwest. The victim stated the owner of the restaurant is planning to fire the suspect, so that angered him. The victim received a call in which the suspect told the victim he was going to kill him and everyone in the restaurant. The victim stated that the owner is planning on keeping the restaurant closed for the day.  

#2021-146033/North Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-12-2021 at 2050 hours, patrol officers were monitoring a large TicTok Party at Golden Gardens Park. At about 2050 hours multiple 911 callers reported a shooting in the 6800 block of Seaview Avenue Northwest. Witnesses reported that occupants of a silver Mazda had shot occupants of a red Mazda. The suspect vehicle was last seen leaving the area southbound. Major Crimes Task Force detectives located the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle and all of its occupants were safely detained. In the 6800 block of Seaview Avenue Northwest officers located two victims inside of a vehicle. One of the victims suffered a gunshot wound to his head. Port of Seattle Police, CRG, Patrol, Major Crimes Task Force and Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives contained the scene and provided medical attention to the victims. Seattle Fire responded and transported one of the victims to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Two people were arrested.
