#2021-197920/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 08-02-2021 at 0733 hours, officers responded to an alarm call from an elderly female in the Rainier Valley. The victim reported that a suspect had kicked the door down and was inside her home. The suspect threatened to kill the victim prior to leaving the residence. Officers developed Probable Cause to arrest the suspect and positively verified the suspect’s identify. Officers located the suspect, and he was taken into custody. After being placed in handcuffs the suspect assaulted two officers. The suspect was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary, Investigation of Felony Harassment and Investigation of Assault.

#2021-198200/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-02-2021 at 1250 hours, a male victim reported that he was in the 4500 block of Delridge Way SW when a vehicle pulled in front of his vehicle and two suspects exited their vehicle with guns. The suspects stole jewelry from the victim. The victim followed the suspects’ vehicle and the suspects opened fired on the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not struck by the bullets. The victim later called police to report it. Officers were unable to locate a crime scene.

#2021-198621/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 08-02-2021 at 2027 hours, a female victim was sitting down to eat pizza at an outdoor table at a restaurant on Pike St. The suspect who was sitting at another table began assaulting the victim and pulled out a gun. Suspect took the victim’s backpack and began to flee. Security briefly detained the suspect, and the suspect dropped his gun to the ground. Suspect was able to get away from security and picked up his gun. Suspect fled south and was last seen in the area of Broadway Ct and E Union St. Victim provided evidence to officers.

#2021-198659/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 08-02-2021 at 2110 hours, police responded to the 600 block of Queen Anne Ave N, in reference to a Bias Incident. During their investigation police learned that the suspect yelled homophobic statements and attempted to assault the victims with a pole, based on their perceived sexual orientation. The suspect was located on scene and arrested without incident.
