#2021-238553/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 09-11-2021 at 0824 hours, a male in a mental health halfway house, apparently high on drugs, banged on the windows and walls, disturbing other residents and the neighborhood for several hours. The male broke out both windows of his room and in the bathroom with his hands and sticks. He sustained cuts to his both hands. The male jumped out his first-floor window and rushed the outside officer, throwing a punch and making contact on the officer’s vest. A Type 1 Use of Force was done to affect the arrest. The suspect was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment prior to being booked into King County Jail for Inv Malicious Mischief and Assault.
#2021-238668/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 09-11-2021 at 1122 hours, officers responded to a report of ‘three possible shots heard, one male seen running with a gun EB on King St’. Reporting Party (RP) told officers he heard the shots, looked out a window and saw a white SUV driving away EB on S King St from 8 Av being chased by a male on foot with a gun in hand. RP did not see the shooting. Officers searched the area for victims and evidence, none was found.
#2021-238820/East Precinct/Second Watch:
On 09-11-2021 at 1407 hours, a Shots Fired incident was called into 911 from the 800 block of E Prospect. A reported white Mercedes Benz was chasing another vehicle and the front seat passenger of the Mercedes Benz leaned out of the window and shot at the car being pursued. An additional call came in from the same area reporting road rage and two cars chasing each other with the same vehicle description. Officers responded to the area. While officers could not locate any damage or bullet casings, they spoke to a number of witnesses who saw the road rage/shooting incident. Officers searched the area but could not locate the suspect or victim vehicle. A witness provided officers with evidence. Gun Violence Reduction Unit will be notified.
#2021-238907/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 09-11-2021 at 1544 hours, officers responded to a stabbing at Prefontaine Park and rendered aid until Seattle Fire arrived. Victim had a gash to his left wrist that had been bleeding profusely. A possible suspect was detained but the victim would not confirm if the detainee was the suspect. Officers released the person, who had quite a bit of blood on her shirt, after identifying her. After the female was released and left, the victim decided to confirm the female as the suspect. The female was not relocated. Victim declined further treatment and walked away.
#2021-238921/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 09-11-2021 at 1600 hours, officers responded to the encampment in the 1000 blk of 4 Av S for a report of a stabbing. The victim had a stab wound to her back, which was treated by officers until Seattle Fire arrived. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center via Medics for additional evaluation and treatment. Suspect was Gone On Arrival. While en route to the call in heavy Sounder traffic, a SFD Engine had a collision at 4 Av and Seattle Blvd with a small pick-up truck. No injuries, patrol investigated. (2021-238921)
