Officers Arrest One Following Shooting in Pioneer Square Club

Police arrested a man after he opened fire in a Pioneer Square club At 1:55 AM Sunday.
Officers monitoring a crowd Early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Occidental Avenue South heard a gunshot from inside a nightclub. As people flooded out of the club they pointed towards a man and signaled to officers that he was the shooter.
Police took the man into custody without further incident. Officers quickly moved into the club and provided first aid to a man with a single gunshot wound. Seattle Fire Department medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
According to witnesses the suspect and victim were involved in an argument just before the shooting. The Gun Violence Reduction Unit responded to the scene and will conduct the investigation.
