Upon arrival, officers discovered that a male wearing a black jacket, black pants and a surgical mask had robbed the clerk at gun point, taking an unknown quantity of cash and (4) e-cigarette tobacco products. The suspect fled on foot towards a motel located just south of the gas station after the robbery. Containment was set and a K9 track was conducted with negative results. After reviewing evidence, officers discovered that the suspect and weapon used (semi-automatic handgun with red slide and threaded barrel) matched that of the suspect and weapon used in previous robberies in Seattle, King County, Des Moines, and Federal Way.
