#2021-310567/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-23-2021 at 1418 hours, the mini-mart owner located near 52 Av S/ S Roxbury St recognized four juvenile males from previous thefts. She attempted to pull the entrance door shut and told them to leave. One of the subjects pushed past her and began to take Swisher Sweets and approximately 100 dollars from the cash register. The victim tried to stop the subject who again pushed past her and fled with the other subjects on foot.

#2021-310863/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-23-2021 at 1704 hours, officers responded to a report of one shot being heard with people seen running near 38 Av S/ S Graham St. Arriving officers learned that the victim had pre-arranged a meeting with the suspects to sell twenty game consoles. At some point, one of the suspects peppered sprayed the victim and put him into a bear hug taking him to the ground. The two then struggled over a firearm that the victim had concealed in his waistband and one round was unintentionally shot. One suspect fled on foot, and the other four drove away in a white BMW 4 door and a white Toyota Rav4 taking the game consoles. Officers located evidence and took the firearm for evidence/safe keeping. Officers could not locate the fired round. The victim produced a CPL at the scene.

#2021-310896/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-23-2021 at 1736 hours, a male was exiting the store near Rainier Av S/ S Elmgrove St. He was entering his Tan, 2003, Toy, Camry, WA BZZ1026, when he was approached by three males. One of the males produced a handgun and pointed it at his head while taking his vehicle. The vehicle was last seen WB on S Rose St.

#2021-310986/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-23-2021 at 1922 hours, officers located a known felony warrant suspect who had a warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. When officers attempted contact with the suspect, he pulled out a handgun with an extended magazine and immediately pointed it at his own head. The suspect then ran from officers and hid in the bushes on a hillside next to the freeway. Officers set up containment. Guardian One, K9, Hostage Negotiation Team, and SWAT responded to the scene. The suspect was eventually taken into custody by SWAT. The suspect was booked into King County Jail (KCJ) for two $100k warrants for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and for Investigation of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. The suspect’s girlfriend was also arrested for a felony $75k Burglary warrant and a material witness warrant and booked into KCJ.

#2021-311107/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-23-2021 at 2259 hours, 911 callers reported a male in the roadway armed with a shotgun who “appeared amped up, walking with a purpose”. SW Patrol located the male in the 7500 block of 24 Ave SW, 1/2 block south of the Southwest Precinct. Officers responded and formed a plan to contact the male who was seated with the shotgun below his feet. The male was safely contacted and ultimately found to be in violation of a No Contact Order prohibiting him from possessing firearms. The firearm was seized as evidence and the order was verified. The suspect was arrested for Investigation of Unlawful Possession of a firearm and booked into King County Jail.
