#2021-313644/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-27-2021 at 0159 hours, calls started coming in to 911 regarding shots in the 4200 BLK of S Chicago St. Officers located the victim residence, which had been left open and abandoned. Evidence of a shooting was recovered from the scene. The home is reportedly supposed to be vacant. Reports all forwarded to Gun Violence Reduction Unit.

#2021-313652/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-27-2021 at 0224 hours, officers reported multiple shots fired near the East Precinct. Responding officers located the victim of the shooting who had been shot in the back. A crime scene was located near 10 Ave and Pine St where evidence of a shooting was recovered. Officers also located the victim’s vehicle nearby, which contained a handgun inside. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) with non-life-threatening injuries. The Gun Violence Reduction Unit responded to HMC to talk to the victim, while patrol processed the crime scenes. The victim told the detective he was in fight with a group of males when one of them produced a handgun. The victim was able to take this gun from the suspect and throw it in his car. A second suspect then pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at the victim and two female associates as he entered his car. The suspects then fled the area on foot and were not located.

#2021-313688/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 11-27-2021 at 0346 hours, callers reported gun shots in the 4200 block of S Chicago St. The same victim residence was involved in an earlier shooting at about 0200 hours (see earlier SIR). Officers arrived and located the victim residence, which was once again left open and abandoned. Evidence of a shooting was located outside and inside. One of the bullets severed a waterline in a wall and the house was flooded. Reports forwarded to Gun Violence Reduction Unit.

#2021-313697/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 11-27-2021 at 0402 hours, a victim called and reported he was pistol whipped and robbed by three suspects. The victim had multiple injuries, including cracked teeth, and was treated at the scene, but refused additional treatment at the hospital. The victim reported the suspects drove by him in a vehicle, returned a second time, and the suspects exited and pointed a handgun at the victim, threatened to kill the victim, and demanded money. The victim ran and the suspects chased him and assaulted and robbed him of his belongings, including his phone. The suspects were not identified or located.

#2021-314176/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-27-2021 at 1753 hours, officers responded to 30th AV NE for a Burglary / Strong Arm Robbery / Property Damage. Officers arrived and were able to arrest the suspect without altercation. The suspect used force to take cellphones from the victims while punching one in the face. Multiple victims were interviewed, and the suspect was booked into King County Jail.

#2021-314193/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-27-2021 at 1819 hours, officers utilizing resources from Major Crimes Task Force (MCTF) and Narcotics conducted an operation in downtown Seattle and University Village to combat prolific high-end shoplifting. Two suspects were arrested after they used counterfeit US currency to fraudulently buy four hundred and fifty dollars-worth of merchandise. After being transported to the West Precinct, MCTF detectives interviewed both suspects.
