#2021-333852/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-19-2021 at 0136 hours, officers were dealing with an assault on a bar patrol in the 1900 block of 1 Ave when another individual began assaulting bar staff. While intervening to protect the bar employee the suspect assaulted two officers. Neither officer required medical aid. An on-duty Acting Lieutenant was advised of the incident.
#2021-333919/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-19-2021 at 0400 hours, officers responded with Seattle Fire to a vehicle that was on fire at the 8100 BLK of 5 Ave S. The fire marshal didn’t respond to the scene, but SFD informed officers that the fire appeared to be intentional. There were no reported injuries. Officers will attempt to contact the registered owner of the vehicle. SPD’s Arson Bomb Squad was notified.
#2021-333920/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-19-2021 at 0405 hours, officers were dispatched to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) for a walk-in gunshot victim. Upon arrival officers met with staff who advised the victim came in with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was not forthcoming with any information and only indicated it occurred somewhere in Chinatown-International District. The victim’s injuries are not expected to be life threating. The victim was rushed into surgery, so officers had yet to speak with him. Staff advised they would call back once he was able to speak with us.
#2021-334283/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 12-19-2021 at 1558 hours, officers responded to the report of an assault with a baseball bat. Upon arrival, they located a victim who had sustained significant injuries to his head and arm. The suspect was located and booked into King County Jail. Evidence was collected at the scene. At the time of this report, the subject was in stable condition. Screened with Homicide.
