On 12-21-2021 at 2351 hours, a fight disturbance occurred in the 1500 block of 11th Ave. The victim reported lightly bumping the suspect’s car door with her car door as she exited her vehicle. A verbal disturbance quick escalated to a fight disturbance where the suspect struck the victim in the head 3 times with a firearm while using biased language. An uninvolved party attempted to intervene, which turned the suspect’s aggression towards him. The unidentified victim was also pistol whipped in the head, which caused the suspect to fire off a handgun round. While still striking the second victim, the weapon’s seated magazine broke, losing its base plate, spring, and dumping unspent rounds on the ground. The suspect then fled northbound on 11th Ave in a newer model gray (possibly) Mazda. The unidentified victim was treated by Seattle Fire. An extensive search was conducted with negative results. Officers processed the scene. The suspect is still at large however evidence was collected.
