#2021-337219/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 12-23-2021 at 0510 hours, a male victim stated that he was walking his dog in the area of the 2100 BLK of California Ave SW, and a possible unknown male struck him in the back of the head. The victim stated that the suspect also struck him in the face. The victim suffered lacerations, a possible fractured nose, and possible injuries that could lead to blood clots. Based on the victim’s conflicting statements, he possibly knew the suspect. The victim was transported by AMR to the hospital.

#2021-337359/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 12-23-2021 at 0955 hours, it was reported that the assisted living facility located at the 4800 BLK of 35 Ave SW had dealt with a suspect in the past. Today, the suspect was asked to leave multiple times and he initially refused. At some point, the suspect made a threat that he was going to shoot employees. The suspect has a crisis caution in the system. Officers arrived and searched the area for the suspect, but he wasn’t located. The suspect has a listed Seattle Municipal Court Warrant for Harassment.

#2021-337405/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 12-23-2021 at 1113 hours, victim and suspect are neighbors. Suspect has an active anti-harassment order against the victim. Today the suspect was walking his dog when the victim approached him in an aggressive manner and the two got into a physical fight. The victim then went back to his residence. The suspect followed the victim there, causing the victim to again confront the suspect. The victim approached and the suspect cut the victim with a knife, causing a serious injury. The suspect then went back to his residence and the victim retreated into his residence. Seattle Fire responded to treat the victim. The suspect was arrested for assault and booked into King County Jail. The victim was transported to Harborview for medical treatment.

#2021-337473/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 12-23-2021 at 1251 hours, the victim was delivering Amazon Fresh packages at Thornton Place in Northgate. While unloading the deliveries from his vehicle, the victim was approached by two suspects who asked him if he needed assistance. The victim declined and grabbed some of the deliveries. The suspects grabbed the rest of the packages and assisted the victim to the main entrance of the building. The suspects then struck the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, where they continued to hit him while demanding his car keys and searching his pockets. A witness yelled at them to stop, and they fled in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries in the assault and the vehicle was not taken.

#2021-337814/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-23-2021 at 2010 hours, officers responded to an apartment in the 1400 block of Boylston Av to assist Seattle Fire on a welfare check. A neighbor in an adjacent building observed a male in the opposing window, slumped over in an awkward position against the glass. SFD and first responding officers eventually breached the apartment door and found three males within the unit who all appeared to have overdosed. SFD administered Narcan and attempted resuscitation for the occupants of the unit. One patient died at the scene and the other two were transported to Harborview Medical Center after being revived with Narcan. A white powdery substance believed to be fentanyl was found at the scene along with other narcotics and paraphernalia. The ME responded and took custody of the deceased.

#2021-337956/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-23-2021 at 2359 hours, officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1300 block of E Madison St. Multiple callers reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing vehicles flee the area from a parking lot. Officers arrived and observed a suspicious vehicle leaving the parking lot, eventually stopping and identifying the driver as having been at the scene with some kind of involvement. The driver was arrested for a felony warrant. Officers also located other evidence including multiple bullet fragments and a well preserved .30 caliber rifle round that was fired through a victim’s apartment window across the street from the scene. Gun Violence Reduction Unit notified.
