#2021-337962/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-24-2021 at 0012 hours, an incident occurred in the parking lot of Rite Aid 2701 Rainier Av S. The victim stated that two suspects approached his vehicle, pointed a gun at him, and demanded his vehicle. The victim complied and both suspects left the area in the victim’s vehicle. The victim walked to a nearby business and asked for assistance. This report will be forwarded to the Robbery Unit.

#2021-338034/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 12-24-2021 at 0234 hours a mother returned home from work to get her child from a long- standing childcare provider. She found the child asleep on the bed with the suspect. The pillow was soaked in blood. The mother took the child and noticed significant bruising and a gash to the head that was bleeding. She immediately called police. Officers responded and took the suspect into custody. Detectives responded to interview the suspect. The child has undergone a SCAN exam and discovered he has a fractured skull as well as additional injuries. Detectives served a warrant on the suspect’s apartment.

#2021-338590/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-24-2021 at 2035 hours, three armed suspects entered a dispensary yelling at the victims to get down. The victims ran to a bathroom and locked themselves inside. The suspects gathered some product and left within 30 seconds. Patrol and SWAT responded. The victim employees were unsure if the suspects were still in the store. SWAT conducted a surround and callout and then cleared the interior of the business. Robbery Unit responded and took over the investigation. This incident is also related to 2021-338642, another dispensary robbery involving the same suspects in the south end.

#2021-338642/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-24-2021 at 2219 hours, three armed suspects entered a dispensary and immediately ordered the suspect to open the safe. The employees were unable to open the safe. The suspects assaulted two employees and then took money from the tills and product from the counter. The suspects were in and out quickly. They matched the description of suspects from an earlier robbery in the north end. (21-338590). Robbery Unit detectives responded and took over the investigation.
