#2022-024659/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 01-30-2022 at 0005 hours, officers responded to the 1400 block of Broadway for a male grabbing people and exposing himself. Officers arrived and determined there was no crime to arrest the subject, however they requested an ambulance for ITA. While waiting for the ambulance, the subject spit in an officer’s eye and was arrested for Assault 3. A bodily fluid exposure report and a hazard report were completed.

#2022-024707/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 01-30-2022 at 0030 hours, according to the victim, the incident occurred around midnight in Seattle, but the victim did not call 911 until hours later and reported this incident over the phone. The male victim met the male suspect at a bar/club in SODO. They got into an argument and the male suspect punched the male victim and yelled derogatory remarks about the male victim’s perceived sexual orientation. The victim felt that he was assaulted because of his perceived sexual orientation. Primary officer obtained all information for the report. Email notification sent.

#2022-024850/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 01-30-2022 at 0454 hours, a robbery occurred at the 9200 BLK of 35 Ave SW (7-11). Prior to entering the 7-11, the suspect was seen manipulating his handgun in the parking lot. The suspect walked in the 7-11 and told the clerk that he wanted a beer and hotdog. The clerk advised the suspect that it is too early for him to sell alcohol. The suspect began walking around towards the back of the counter, so the victim retreated in the back room. The suspect then grabbed a hotdog, and his handgun fell on the floor. The suspect picked up his handgun and kept it in his hand while speaking with the clerk. The suspect exited the store with the hotdog. The suspect got inside a vehicle and fled the scene. Officers checked for evidence and the SPD Robbery Unit was notified about the incident.

#2022-024891/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 01-30-2022 at 0626 hours, officers responded to several 911 calls of gunfire in the Rainier Valley. Officers arrived and found physical evidence confirming the information received from the reporting parties. No injured victim(s) were located, although blood was found at the scene. Bullet damage was located to a vehicle parked on the street and a building for a local business also had been damage from bullets. Patrol processed the scene.

#2022-025072/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 01-30-2022 at 1209 hours, officers responded to a shooting located at Maynard Av/ S Jackson St. There were multiple callers and witnesses to the incident. When officers arrived, a witness identified suspect involved in the shooting. Officers apprehended the suspect and recovered the handgun, a ballistic vest, and narcotics. There was no victim of the shooting but buildings in the area sustained damage from the incident and evidence of a shooting was recovered.

#2022-025121/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 01-30-2022 at 1327 hours, officers responded to a report of a shooting in an encampment in the 600 blk of NE 55th St. Officers arrived and contacted a male victim with a gunshot wound to his right upper leg. Officers secured the scene for Seattle Fire and interviewed several people. Through the investigation officers learned the name of the suspect and conducted a search for them with no success. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

#2022-025359/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 01-30-2022 at 1946 hours, officers responded to a vehicle on fire. During the investigation it was discovered that the vehicle was ignited by a “Molotov Cocktail” by an unknown suspect. The vehicle returned as an outside stolen vehicle. Seattle Fire’s Fire Marshal responded and SPD’s Arson Bomb Squad was notified.
