UPDATE: Suspect Arrested After Man Fatally Shot in Capitol Hill

UPDATE 3/4/22: Law enforcement in Oregon have arrested and booked a suspect into King County Jail in the ongoing investigation into the February 20th homicide.

Original 2/20/22:

Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Capitol Hill on Sunday evening.

At 6:25 p.m., police responded to the 1700 block of Summit Avenue for reports of a shooting. Officers arrived and found a man on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. Seattle Fire Department medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. 

Members of SPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit have responded to collect evidence and process the scene.
