Police are investigating after a man was injured in a shooting Downtown on Monday night.
At about 8:30 p.m., officers on patrol heard a gunshot near 3rd Avenue and Pine Street. Police found a victim on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of 3rd Avenue with a gunshot wound to the face. Officers began first aid, eventually transferring care to Seattle Fire Department medics who transported the 48-year-old man to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
Despite the large number of people in the area, few witnesses provided any information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
