#2022-045679/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 02-22-2022 at 1151 hours, at Beacon/S Orcas two juvenile suspects tried to carjack a female driver who prevented the crime by speeding away from the suspects. As she fled, she heard one low-volume shot fired. The victim believed the gun used was not a real handgun. Officers made an area check, but the suspects were not located at that time.
#2022-005741/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 02-22-2022 at 1321 hours, an unknown suspect fired one shot from a blue pick-up truck in the 8600 block of Renton AV S. There were no reports of persons/property shot and the truck was described as possibly being a Ford F-150. Evidence of a shooting was located.
#2022-046057/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 02-22-2022 at 2009 hours, officers were dispatched to a robbery at a marijuana dispensary on Aurora Ave N. Officers arrived, located broken glass, and evidence of a shooting in the parking lot. Officers contacted the armed security guard working at the dispensary. The guard stated that multiple armed subjects approached the business, so he drew his weapon and told them to drop their guns and leave. The guard then fired 5 shots at the suspects. The suspects returned to their vehicle and fled southbound on Aurora Ave N. It appeared that no one was stuck by the rounds. An area check was conducted but the suspect vehicle was not located.
