#2022-075813/East Precinct/First Watch:

On 03-27-2022 at 0348 hours, a disturbance occurred involving a victim’s vehicle. A friend claims to have been given permission to drive the victim’s vehicle and suddenly drove away from an argument at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was then involved in a single car collision to City Light power pole in the 900blk of James St. sheering the City Light pole and lowering the high-power lines. This collision also occurred approx. 20 feet from gas pumps/station. James Street was closed down to vehicle traffic both East and West bound between 9 Av/Boren Av. Traffic was redirected. The gas station also closed for business due to the safety concerns. SDOT, Seattle City Light and Metro were all contacted. Officers responded to the scene. LT. was notified. Pole was replaced, power lines secured, and traffic way was reopened by 1200hrs.

#2022-076256/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 03-27-2022 at 1519 hours, officers were dispatched to numerous reports of a female causing property damage to business windows. Numerous victim locations were discovered, and the same suspect description was provided to officers. Officers followed a path of destruction for nearly a mile and located the female suspect, clutching three stalks of rhubarb. Officers attempted to stop the suspect and she fled. A brief foot pursuit led to the suspect’s apprehension. Multiple field show ups were conducted, with all victims positively identifying the suspect. The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of burglary and malicious mischief. No injuries or force reported.

#2022-076496/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 03-27-2022 at 2115 hours, a suspect confronted and challenged two male acquaintances, prompting a verbal disturbance. The suspect escalated to stabbing one of the males, and attempting to stab the other, who thwarted the assault using a realistic looking (pepper ball) gun. The suspect retreated to the apartment of a petitioner who has a NCO against him, was taken into custody by responding officers, and will be booked into King County Jail after receiving medical clearance from a local hospital.

#2022-076571/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 03-27-2022 at 2332 hours, officers responded to a report of an assault involving a handgun, the victim had been pistol whipped. Victims were walking on Cloverdale near the 700 block when the suspect vehicle pulled up and ordered them to the ground presenting a handgun. Belongings were taken and one victim was struck in the head with the handgun. Suspects left the area and area check results were negative. GVRU and Robbery notified.
