#2022-077457/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 03-29-2022 at 0116 hours, officers responded to a report of a disturbance near the intersection of 14 Av and E Pike St. The subject involved was threatening pedestrians with large rocks and was also throwing rocks at windows of a building nearby. Arriving officers saw the subject at a distance and witnessed him throwing rocks at the windows. When they contacted him he was hostile towards them. Officers remained at a distance, and he began throwing large rocks at officers who took cover behind a dumpster. The subject also struck two patrol vehicles with the rocks during the incident. Officers established a contact team with riot shields as additional cover and eventually deployed a 40mm launcher when the subject refused to follow orders to drop the rocks. The 40mm deployment was effective and the suspect took off running. He was apprehended and later booked into jail for Assault 3rd and felony level property damage. Hazard reports completed.

#2022-077856/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 03-29-2022 at 1230 hours, officers were dispatched to the 900 BLK of N 145 ST to recover a stolen vehicle. One occupant of the vehicle was arrested, and officers found the following narcotics on her person: *195 M30 pills *26.3 grams of methamphetamine *28.5 grams of heroin *9.4 grams of cocaine *69 Gabapentin pills The subject was booked for Investigation of VUCSA and Investigation of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. The vehicle was searched (with the owner’s consent) and impounded.

#2022-077987/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 03-29-2022 at 1440 hours, officers responded to a subject causing a disturbance in the 300 block of W Boston ST. When they attempted to contact the subject, he took a folding chair, raised it above his head, and charged the officers. The assault resulted in a taser deployment and a brief struggle before the officers were able to take the subject into custody. One officer received minor injuries and was treated on scene by AMR. The subject was booked into King County Jail for Assault.

#2022-078313/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 03-29-2022 at 2120 hours, a subject was found stabbed in the 800 Block of South Jackson Street. The victim was stabbed twice in left bicep (non-life threatening) by an unknown suspect. Crime scene established as an encampment at 7th Ave S. & S. Main Street by following blood trail. No witnesses located. Victim taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

#2022-078348/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 03-29-2022 at 2219 hours, officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired near a park in the 3400 block of Lake Washington BLVD. Evidence of a shooting was located. The scene was processed. There are not any known victims / suspects at this time. No property damage was located in the area.

#2022-078428/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 03-29-2022 at 2315 hours, officers were dispatched to shots heard in area of 5th/James street (22-78397). Unable to locate victims/witnesses/evidence during response. 45 minutes later King County Jail security called to notify that evidence of a shooting was found in the 500 Block of Jefferson Street (22-78428). Evidence showed a white pickup truck attempting to enter the goat hill parking garage immediately South of KCJ. Unable to gain entry, the driver of the vehicle reversed suddenly and began firing into the air before driving away Eastbound on South Jefferson. No known damage or witnesses. It is not believed that KCJ was targeted in this call.
