#2022-082302/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 04-03-2022 at 0201 hours, officers responded to a strong-armed robbery at a gas station. Officers arrived and located the suspect still on scene. The suspect assaulted the victim who was on the street and took their phone and their case of white claws. The victim was able to get their phone back from the suspect, but the suspect kept the white claws. Officers located the case of white claws in the suspect’s vehicle. Officers placed the suspect under arrest for investigation of robbery without incident.
#2022-082319/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 04-03-2022 at 0223 hours, officers responded to reports of a shots call at 24 AV S and S Washington St. Officers arrived on scene and there was nobody in the area. Officers located evidence of a shooting on the ground. Officers spoke with a caller who lives nearby who stated her daughter’s apartment bedroom window was broken by one of the stray bullets. No victims were reported to have been hit from this incident. No suspect description provided. GVRU was notified of the incident. Patrol officers processed the scene.
#2022-082322/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 04-03-2022 at 0226 hours, officers responded to a report of a drive-by shooting in the area of SW Admiral WY/62 AVE SW. Officers contacted the victims who had been involved in a road rage incident with an older gold Honda sedan. One of the occupants of the Honda lobbed a glass bottle at the victim vehicle smashing the sunroof. One of the victims approached the vehicle and a verbal disturbance ensued. A passenger in the Honda subsequently pointed a handgun out the window and fired at least two shots before driving off. No one was injured. Officers could not locate a scene. An area check for the vehicle was negative.
#2022-082553/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 04-03-2022 at 0940 hours, an unknown female pulled into a private drive. The vehicle occupants were confronted by the homeowner who told them to leave. The vehicle backed out of the driveway and the passenger fired two shots into the air as the vehicle left. Evidence of a shooting was found but no property or people were apparently hit. Area check for vehicle was negative
