#2022-104802/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 04-27-2022 at 2228 hours, a suspect was angry at his neighbor and a guest who were being too loud. As the guest left, the suspect opened his door and began stabbing him. The victim ran a short distance pursued by the suspect, who caught him, at which point a two-party knife fight began. Officers arrived, contacted both parties, administered first aid, investigated, and recovered evidence. Both suspect and victim transported to HMC for treatment for multiple stab wounds. Suspect under hospital guard and will be booked. Both parties medically stable/non-life threatening.
#2022-105228/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 04-27-2022 at 1108 hours, 9-1-1 advised of a robbery, saying a man with a knife was stealing beer and threatening staff at a local convenience store. Officers left roll call early to respond. On scene the victim said when he asked the suspect to leave, the suspect produced a knife and lunged at the victim. The victim had to jump back to avoid being stabbed. The suspect then wandered around the store, selecting a six pack of beer and Seattle Bride magazine and finally left the store. An officer and their DOC partner located and detained the suspect a short distance away. Suspect was positively ID’d by the victim and was booked into KCJ for investigation of robbery.
#2022-105485/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 04-27-2022 at 1541 hours, SPD officers assisted KCSO with an assault at a bus zone at M L King/S Myrtle. The victim was confronted by two suspects who shot at him with a flare gun. The victim did not sustain any significant injury. An area check was made, but the suspects were not located at this time.
#2022-105677/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 04-27-2022 at 1941 hours, a male was leaving work. He was out of his car closing the gate to the parking lot of his work when the suspects approached him on foot. Suspect #1 was armed with a handgun and suspect #2 had a long gun. Suspect #1 told the victim “This is our car now”. Suspect #2 got in the driver’s side of the victim car and started to drive away. The victim jumped on the car on the passenger side and held on at it drove away. He heard shots coming from behind him and felt pain in his left arm and left buttocks. He held onto the car until it stopped and suspect #2 got out and walked away. The victim got into his car and drove to a nearby urgent care center. Responding officers located evidence and Robbery Unit detectives spoke to the victim at HMC. Det. assigned the follow-up.
#2022-105815/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 04-27-2022 at 2314 hours, an officer heard multiple shots near the intersection of S Othello ST and 46th AVE S. Multiple officers arrived in the area and located evidence of a shooting but did not locate any victims, suspects, property damage, or witnesses. The incident was screened.
