#2022-108866/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-01-2022 at 0217 hours, approximately 6 shots were heard being fired from the Sinking Ship garage in Pioneer Square shortly after the clubs closed. Emphasis and patrol units responded and searched the area. No victims, property damage, or evidence of a shooting were located. Numerous people were contacted but none claimed to be a witness.

#2022-108873/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-01-2022 at 0228 hours, a male was driving home from the east precinct area when he accidently cut off another driver. The suspect pulled up alongside the victim and stated he was going to kill him. The unknown suspect then fired six shots at the victim and his vehicle, striking it twice. The victim drove off to get away from the suspect. He then drove to the area of 15 Av S/S Dakota St when he noticed his car was on fire. The victim stopped the vehicle in the middle of the road and exited unhurt. Officers arrived to find the victim vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Seattle Fire responded and extinguished the flames. Victim was not injured in the incident. Fire Marshal responded. No GVRU units were logged on.

#2022-108892/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 05-01-2022 at 0326 hours, two male suspects broke into an Albertsons grocery store in Magnolia. The suspects attached a chain/cable to the ATM and pulled the ATM out of the store using a red pickup truck. The ATM broke away from the vehicle and was located in a nearby alley. The last known direction of travel for the vehicle was eastbound on Mercer Street. The ATM was returned to the store unopened.

#2022-108937/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 05-01-2022 at 0514 hours, a Help the Officer was broadcasted on radio. KCSO advised they had shot at a vehicle and were in pursuit from N 143 ST and Greenwood Av N. Radio later updated the suspect vehicle had shot at officers and they returned fire. Multiple units from SPD began responding to the area. Radio broadcasted the KCSO pursuit was heading NB on I-5 and was reaching speeds of 125 MPH. The suspect vehicle was last seen exiting I-5 in Edmunds where KCSO terminated the pursuit. KCSO later advised radio that there was no officer involved shooting. No SPD units involved in the pursuit. No crime scene in Seattle.

#2022-108975/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 05-01-2022, the EMT cadre assigned to May Day was collecting gear when they noticed several broken windows in the Training Section offices. Additionally, a minor amount of graffiti was located on the west doors. Lt. notified.

#2022-109278/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-01-2022 at 1518 hours, a registered owner reported his stolen vehicle was parked down the street from his home with someone sleeping in the driver’s seat. Officers responded to the location. Suspect woke up and tried to elude officers. Suspect lost control of the vehicle and ran up onto a retaining wall. The suspect then backed up and rammed a patrol vehicle. Suspect was taken into custody and booked into KCJ for PSV and Eluding. No one was injured.

#2022-109395/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-01-2022 at 1758 hours, armed security officers working for Maserati of Seattle in the 1400 block of 12th Ave contacted 3 suspicious individuals parked outside the dealership. The vehicle was described as a newer model black Hyundai Sonata with a “Car Pros” license plate, heavy tint, and damage to the left rear bumper. The rear passenger of the vehicle, described as a male in his late teens to early 20s, through his sweatshirt brandished what the victim believed to be a firearm and threatened to shoot the victim, stating “I’ll smoke you”. The victim did not directly see the firearm, but as an armed security officer is familiar with firearms and stated that he observed what was clearly the impression of a slide of a semi-automatic handgun. The driver of the vehicle, described as a male in his late teens to early 20s, exited the vehicle and began to chase the victim. Due to the threats and actions of the suspects, the victim believed that if he did not leave the area, he would have been shot or otherwise physically assaulted.

#2022-109598/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-01-2022 at 2320 hours, a 911 call was made stating a male fired 4 shots into the air prior to driving off. Patrol officers responded to the scene and located evidence of a shooting. No victims or property damage were located. Patrol processed the scene.
