#2022-124508/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-18-2022 at 0052 hours, a victim was cleaning up graffiti using a large pressure washer that was on a trailer attached to the victim’s truck. A suspect walked up to the victim and hit the victim repeatedly. The suspect then got into the truck and drove off. Officers were on a separate arrest about a block away and were flagged down as the white truck sped off. Officers located the truck and trailer about five blocks away as the suspect ran off. A K-9 track was done however the suspect was not located.

#2022-125079/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-18-2022 at 1543 hours, officers responded to a report of a bank robbery. The suspect fled on foot prior to officers’ arrival. Their investigation revealed that the suspect entered the bank and approached a teller. He handed her a note that stated he was armed and that everything would go smoothly if she turned over money. The suspect was not located in an area search. The incident was screened with the Robbery Unit.

#2022-125142/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-18-2022 at 1640 hours, officers responded to a report of a bank robbery. The suspect fled on foot prior to officers’ arrival. Their investigation revealed that the suspect entered the bank and approached a teller and asked to open a bank account. The teller told the suspect it was too late and to come back tomorrow. The suspect then demanded money and indicated he had a weapon. The suspect was not located in an area search. The incident was screened with the Robbery Unit. All indications are this is the same suspect from the earlier bank robbery 22-125079.

#2022-125478/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-18-2022 at 2257 hours, a victim had just parked his vehicle on the street at 13 Av S/S Judkins St and was walking home, when 4 suspects approached the victim and put a gun to the victim’s chest and demanded his belongings. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone and car keys. The suspects got into the victim’s gray 2012 Honda civic and attempted to flee. The suspects didn’t know how to drive the vehicle with a manual transmission and fled from the vehicle a short distance away. K9 responded and tracked for the suspects on foot with negative results. Victim was not injured. Patrol processed the scene. The incident was screened with Robbery unit.

#2022-125509/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-18-2022 at 2339 hours, a female victim parked her vehicle in the parking lot of the Rainier Beach Community Center. As the victim was removing a child from the backseat, 2 unknown males approached the vehicle, pointed a black handgun at the victim and ordered her to move away from the vehicle. The suspects then drove away in the victim’s vehicle in an unknown direction. The incident was screened with Robbery Unit.
