#2022-134502/South Precinct/Third Watch:

Associated with 2022-134580. On 05-28-2022 at 0058 hours, officers located a burglary suspect in the middle of the road. When they tried to contact him, he fled to a gas station parking lot. As officers tried once again to contact the suspect, he charged at one but then turned and charged the second officer and swung at him. The second officer was able to block the punch then both officers took the suspect to the ground and placed him under arrest. Type 1 Use of Force completed. Officers also filed out a hazard report.

#2022-134509/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 0105 hours, officers responded to the report of a female waving around a handgun inside a bar in the U-District. Officers responded and made contact with the manager of the bar who advised that the suspect had fled just prior to their arrival. Officers located the suspect and attempted to detain her. She fled on foot but was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Firearm was recovered and came back stolen out of Pennsylvania. Suspect was also a convicted felon. The suspect was booked for felony harassment as well as the felony weapon charges.

#2022-134525/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 0120 hours, officers heard a shots disturbance in the area of 12 Av S and S Main St in King Sector. The officers were flagged down in the 1200 block of S Main St by a witness to a shots/disturbance incident in the parking lot. All subjects had fled the area, however officers located evidence of a shooting, a handgun mounted laser, a phone, and a wallet. There was also damage to a vehicle nearby which was not involved. Officers canvassed for a suspect or victim, but none were located, and none turned up at hospitals. A welfare check was conducted by Kent PD on the subject whose ID was in the wallet, however they were unable to gather information. Approximately two hours later, a subject was brought to HMC with two gunshot wounds. HMC staff provided his name to officers, and it matched the name that was found on the ID in the wallet at the scene. The subject was in surgery and was unable to be interviewed. This incident was screened with GVRU.

#2022-134604/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 0420 hours, SPD received several reports of shots fired at the 6900 BLK of Delridge WY SW. Officers responded and located evidence of a shooting. Officers checked the area for additional evidence, and to make sure no one was struck in the nearby apartments and vehicles.

#2022-134917/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 1242 hours, a male was out jogging when he was confronted by a male and female who pointed a handgun at him and took his wallet and necklace. Victim said the female was an ex-girlfriend, but he did not know the male. The suspects fled in a black Chevrolet Impala with red pinstripes, which happens to match the description of a vehicle registered to victim’s ex-girlfriend. An area check for the suspects was negative.

#2022-134968/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 1332 hours, a male was hanging out in an alley, 1900 block 2 Av, when he was approached by two suspects. Suspect 1 asked if he was selling blues, and the victim said he was not. Suspect produced a knife and demanded victim empty his pockets. Victim told the suspects that he did not have anything in his pockets, so the suspects demanded the laptop the victim was holding. Victim refused to give the laptop, and Suspect 1 stabbed victim one time, connecting with the victim’s right wrist, leaving a 1-2″ laceration/puncture wound that bled heavily. Both suspects ran to a nearby U-Haul pickup truck and fled the area. Victim was transported to HMC, with non-life-threatening injuries. Robbery was notified.

#2022-135047/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 1515 hours, officers responded to a South Lake Union park regarding an e-bike robbery. The victim claimed that 3 unknown male suspects came up and stole his e-bike which was parked near him at the park. When the suspects were confronted, one of them pulled a handgun. Suspects were not located and there was only a vague description provided, other than some clothing information for one of the three suspects. No one was injured. The victim said the e-bike actually belonged to a friend of his and he was borrowing it.

#2022-135091/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 1559 hours, Seattle Fire responded to a medical incident at an apartment complex and encountered a combative patient. The subject bit a firefighter in the hand which prompted a “help the firefighter” call. SPD patrol officers responded to the scene and assisted SFD restraining the subject. Subject was likely under the influence of some form of stimulant, and it took a large number of SFD and SPD personnel to restrain him. Medic unit responded to the scene and sedated the subject. Subject was then transported to HMC by Medic with a hospital guard. Once released from the hospital, the subject will be book into KCJ for felony assault on a firefighter.

#2022-135109/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 1621 hours, a female inside a vehicle was approached by three suspects. Suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and took the vehicle from her. Area check done and vehicle not recovered.

#2022-135182/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-28-2022 at 1812 hours, officers were conducting narcotics surveillance in the area of 12th Ave S. and S. Jackson when they established probable cause to arrest a subject for delivery of a controlled substance. Upon contacting the subject, the subject fled on foot. A short foot pursuit ensued, and officers were able to take the suspect into custody without incident. Search incident to arrest the subject had a loaded Smith and Wesson .40 cal firearm in his pocket along with fentanyl pills and approximately $377 in cash. Subject was booked into KCJ.
