#2022-173047/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 07-06-2022 at 0043 hours, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery call near Renton Ave S and S Bangor St. According to the caller, 30 minutes prior, two unknown suspects robbed the caller’s grandmother at gun point. Officers arrived and contacted the caller and the victim. Officers were able to determine that two suspects forced entry into the victim’s house. One of the suspects held the victim at gunpoint while the other one ransacked the residence. The suspects had left 30 minutes prior to the 911 call, they were not located.

#2022-173041/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 07-06-2022 at 0100 hours, officers responded to a trespass incident in the vicinity of Terry Ave & Stewart St. Upon arrival, a security officer pointed the suspect out to SPD officers, who then detained the suspect. Routine records checks of the suspect revealed an outstanding SPD felony warrant for Residential Burglary & Hate Crime. The suspect was advised he was under arrest for the verified warrant, at which time he resisted officers. He was subsequently taken to the ground, where he sustained a minor abrasion to his shoulder, classified as Type II Use of Force. The suspect was later booked into KCJ for the felony warrant.

#2022-173146/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 07-06-2022 at 0444 hours, two suspects walked into the 7-11 located at the 3800 BLK of California Ave SW. One of the suspects was wearing gloves and pointed a black handgun at the 7-11 clerk. The suspect demanded the clerk open the cash drawer and give him money. The suspect grabbed the cash and also took some tobacco products and left the store. The suspects got into a possible Toyota Prius and fled at a high rate of speed. K9 was enroute but called off once it was determined the suspects left in a vehicle. The SPD Robbery Unit was notified about the incident.

#2022-173637/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-06-2022 at 1458 hours, Seattle Public Schools had some confusion on the first day of summer school. Buses were lost and children were dropped off at the wrong locations across the city. All children were located and reunited with their parents.
