#2022-184736/South Precinct/Third Watch
On 07-17-2022 at 0135 hours, South Precinct patrol officers responded to an encampment near 10th Avenue South and South Dearborn Street in response to a 911 caller stating that he had shot himself. Upon arrival, officers found a man with a single gunshot wound to his right leg. Officers applied a tourniquet and provided first aid until Seattle Fire personnel arrived. Officers were unable to locate shell casings, the firearm itself, or a definitive incident scene. The subject was transported to HMC with non life-threatening injuries, and SPD personnel cleared the scene
#2022-184697/East Precinct/Third Watch
On 07-17-2022 at 0038 hours, patrol officers responded to a bar in the 1300 block of East Madison for a disturbance involving an intoxicated male. Officers found patrons restraining the suspect. When an officer attempted to take the suspect into custody, the suspect kicked the officer in the face. Officers were able to take the suspect into custody.
2022-185472/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch
At 2100 hours officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 5400 block of 30th Avenue Southwest. Upon arrival officers learned a black sedan had sped out of the area and an occupant had fired a shot out the window into the air.
