2022-186581/West Precinct/Third Watch
At 2314 hours the victim was walking down the sidewalk in the lower Queen Anne area when she was approached by the unknown male suspect. Without provocation, the male made several derogatory comments regarding the victim’s perceived sexual orientation and proceeded to punch her in the face several times. The suspect stated he was going to kill her as he placed his hand in his jacket pocket. The suspect fled the scene.

At 0024 hours, 911 received numerous reports of gunfire near the 4900 block of South Willow Street. Patrol officers responded and located shell casings in the street.
#2022-186712/North Precinct/First Watch
At 0310 hours North Precinct officers responded to the report of an interrupted commercial burglary, in which the suspects had shot at the victim. Officers contacted the victim, who told police arrived at his place of business in response to a call from the alarm company. When he looked inside the front window of the business he saw a suspect inside. The suspect saw the victim and ran toward the back of the business. The victim drove his vehicle to the rear of the business and observed the suspect exit the business and walk towards an orange Subaru Crosstrek. When the suspect saw that the victim was watching him, the suspect pointed a handgun in the direction of the victim and fired one round at him. The suspect then entered the Subaru and fled the area. The victim followed the suspect for several blocks, but stopped after the suspect vehicle got on to I-5. The victim was not injured and no shell casings were located at the scene.
2022-186568/West Precinct/Third Watch
The victim called 911 to report she had been assaulted and robbed by a woman on the sidewalk near 3rdAvenue and James Street. Officers located the suspect approximately 30 minutes later and arrested her.
#2022-187447/West Precinct/Third Watch
At 1919 hours officers responded to the general area of the encampment located at 6th Avenue South and Seattle Boulevard regarding a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a male with a stab wound to his left shoulder. Officers provided aid and medics transported the male victim to Harborview for further care. Upon speaking with witnesses in the area it was determined that the person believed to be the victim was the suspect of an attempted robbery who was stabbed by the victim of the robbery in self-defense. The suspect will be booked into KCJ upon treatment for his injuries.
2022-187301/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch
At 1618 hours a male walked into a store in the 4700 block of 42nd Avenue Southwest and proceeded to shoplift approximately $80 worth of merchandise. Loss prevention followed the suspect out into the parking lot and stopped the suspect as he was trying to get into his car. When lost prevention attempted to get the merchandise back, the suspect took a swing at one of the loss prevention employees and brandished a handgun before fleeing the scene in dark color Subaru hatchback.
