#2022-192971/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 07-25-2022 at 0357 hours, a victim reported that 3 males were let into his unit at a tri-plex by an ex-girlfriend. The males were reportedly armed with a shotgun and unknown handgun. The home-owner woke up to the 3 telling him to leave the house. When he didn’t, 1 round was fired into the ceiling. The suspects all ran out and the victim locked the door. Shortly after, the door was kicked in, one of the suspects took the victim’s puppy and all left the scene. Scene processed by patrol. Robbery notified.

#2022-193296/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-25-2022 at 1142 hours, an unknown person entered a donation center and dropped off a grenade along with a small amount of ammunition, then left the area. As a precaution, employees evacuated the building and called for SPD. Patrol arrived and requested ABS, who responded and determined the items to be safe.

#2022-193371/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-25-2022 at 1306 hours, officers responded with Seattle Fire to a report of an OD in the 600 block of 3 Av. Victim was found unresponsive and was worked on by SFD Medics. Victim was transferred to an AMR by SFD, AMR transported to KCME.

#2022-193483/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-25-2022 at 1504 hours, officers responded to the Lowe’s in the 2700 block of Rainier AV S and apprehended a prolific fraud suspect, who steals people’s credit cards and then loads prepaid cards, using the stolen credit cards. During today’s arrest, the suspect had two stolen credit cards, belonging to a single victim. The suspect had loaded a gift card with five hundred dollars using one of the stolen cards. According to Loss Prevention at Lowe’s, this suspect is responsible for between forty-five to fifty thousand dollars in loss over the past year. Major Crimes Task Force will handle follow-up.

#2022-193573/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-25-2022 at 1639 hours, officers working 3rd/Pine St emphasis observed narcotics activity involving methamphetamines, fentanyl, and a loaded handgun. The description of the suspect was broadcasted for officers in the area who located and arrested the suspect. The suspect attempted to get rid of the evidence, which was picked up by an unrelated individual then later recovered. Both subjects involved were booked into KCJ for VUCSA and UPFA.

#2022-193839/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 07-25-2022 at 2315 hours, a former housing resident had been evicted and, due to post eviction behavior, was served a protection order related to staff. Subject has violated the order multiple times. Today, officers contacted the suspect in violation of order and sought to place him in custody, which he resisted and tried to run away. After several feet an officer caught the suspect (who had turned to face the officer) and both fell to the ground where the suspect placed the officer in a full guard position and kicked him. Suspect was immediately removed by additional officers and taken into custody. No injuries to officers or suspect. Assault on officer screened. Suspect booked into KCJ.

#2022-193867/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 07-25-2022 at 2322 hours, a victim got off the light rail at the Columbia City Station and was walking south on the east side of the street when the victim saw an unknown vehicle pull up next to him and then someone inside started shooting at him. The victim took off running and the suspect vehicle caught up to the victim again at M L K Jr Way S/S Lucile and fired additional shots. The victim was able to run and hide in the alley behind the AM/PM at MLK/S Orcas ST. Victim was not injured. Officers located evidence of a shooting at MLK/S Lucile ST in the roadway. The scene was processed. No GVRU units were logged on.
