#2022-203975/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-04-2022 at 1235 hours, Pike/Pine emphasis officers observed a suspect dealing narcotics. Suspect ran from arresting officers but was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. Fentanyl pills and a gun were recovered. This is the second time in a month the same juvenile suspect has been arrested for dealing narcotics while armed with a gun.

#2022-203993/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-04-2022 at 1249 hours, a witness reported a subject was damaging a vehicle on the street. Arriving officers found the subject actively damaging another vehicle. Officers contacted the subject to place him under arrest. During the arrest, the subject resisted and assaulted one officer, resulting in a “fast back” request for additional units. The subject was eventually placed into custody and later booked into KCJ for assaulting a police officer with charge requested for obstruction and property destruction. The victim officer had a minor injury that was treated at the scene by Seattle Fire. Hazard report was completed for the subject.

#2022-204327/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-04-2022 at 1858 hours, a Toyota 4Runner driven by a 51-year-old female was travelling westbound in the 4800 block of S. Austin St when two pedestrians emerged into her pathway. The 4Runner was unable to stop and both pedestrians were thought to have been struck by the vehicle. One of the pedestrians, a 2-year-old boy was reported to have suffered significant, critical injuries. The adult male he was in the care of had minor injuries. Both pedestrians were transported to HMC; after being evaluated, only minor injuries were found. A DRE responded and evaluated the driver; signs of impairment were present, and the driver was placed under arrest. A DUI blood draw search warrant was sought and the driver was expected to be I & R’d pending further investigation.

#2022-204353/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 08-04-2022 at 1900 hours, CRG developed probable cause for a suspect selling narcotics in the area of 3 / Pine. As officers moved in for the arrest the suspect attempted to get away on an electric bike. An SPD officer deployed on a bike was able to catch up to the suspect and safely take him into custody. The suspect is a convicted felon and had a loaded firearm on his person as well as 13.3 grams of fentanyl, 3.2g amphetamines, and $1200 in cash.

#2022-204341/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08-04-2022 at 1930 hours, CRG Officers were flagged down for a report of a male threatening to kill passersby and making specific claims about people’s perceived sexual orientations. The victims believed they were being targeted and feared for their safety. Officers immediately apprehended the suspect without incident. Suspect was booked for INV of Malicious Harassment and the Incident was screened by CRG 1.
