#2022-227500/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 08-27-2022 at 0943 hours, a sergeant was flagged down about a shooting at 4th/Union and dispatch received additional calls about the incident. Officers arrived and saw that a male had been shot in the back and had been struck in the back of the head with an object, possibly the pistol. Officers rendered aid to the individual until medics arrived. Evidence of a shooting and additional evidence. The injuries are possibly life-threatening according to SFD Medic 1. The victim was transported to HMC and taken into surgery. The incident was screened with SPD Homicide.
