#2022-228195/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 08-28-2022 at 0120 hours, officers responded to a reported robbery in the 600 block of Harvard Av E. The victim was a pizza delivery driver who stated multiple males drove up to his vehicle in a dark Dodge charger or challenger after he completed a delivery. One male produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim gave the suspect’s his cash and the suspect’s fled in their vehicle.
#2022-228281/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 08-28-2022 at 0400 hours, officers responded to a shooting call with one person down. Officers arrived and located a male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his left leg. Seattle Fire responded and treated the victim, AMR transported. Patrol located a scene and processed evidence of a shooting. Suspects were gone, witnesses were not cooperative. Homicide screened.
#2022-228355/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 08-28-2022 at 0830 hours, officers responded to a driver passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle. Officers arrived and contacted the driver who began to fight with officers resulting in a type 2 Use of Force. Suspect was transported to HMC for treatment by Seattle Fire and AMR. Officers observed a handgun and narcotics inside the vehicle and a warrant was completed. After servicing the warrant, officers located a large amount of suspected Meth and two firearms. Suspect was later booked for multiple crimes.
#2022-228908/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 08-28-2022 at 2031 hours, officers responded to a report of a violation of a court order. As officers were conducting their investigation, the suspect was pointed out by the caller and officers took the suspect into custody for violating the court order. While officers were escorting the suspect to the patrol vehicle, the suspect kicked an officer, and then while officers were putting the suspect in the back of the patrol vehicle, the suspect was combative and kicked two other officers. One of the officers reported pain to his shoulder from putting the suspect in the back of the patrol vehicle. Suspect sustained a cut to the chin resulting in a type 2 Use of Force. Suspect was booked into KCJ for Assault 3 after receiving medical attention at HMC.
#2022-228922/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 08-28-2022 at 2049 hours, an officer was involved in a collision during routine driving in the area of 35 AVE SW/SW Findlay ST when a single-occupant vehicle travelling in the opposing lane crossed the centerline and struck the officer’s car. The patrol car was disabled, and the other driver was processed for DUI. The officer had transient pain to left shoulder. No other injuries were reported.

On 08-28-2022 at 2117 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the Seward Park Neighborhood. According to the call, multiple callers reported hearing 10 plus shots. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting, but no victims or suspects were located.
#2022-228963/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 08-28-2022 at 2136 hours, officers responded to a report of 10 shots heard in the area of 3610 33 Av S. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting in the parking lot of 3621 33 Av S. Officers spoke to a witness who heard the shots and then saw an unknown male running SB on 33 Av S and another male get into a light-colored sedan full of people and drive off NB on 33 Av S. No victims were located, but officers did find two parked vehicles that were struck by the gunfire. The scene was photographed, and evidence was submitted. No GVRU detectives were working tonight.

On 08-28-2022 at 2207 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the Rainier Beach Neighborhood. According to the call, multiple callers reported hearing 17 plus shots. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting. Officers also located property damage to a local grocery store. No suspects or victims were located.
