Police are investigating after a man was shot and injured in the Roosevelt neighborhood early Sunday morning.
At about 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Northeast 73rd Street for reports that a man had been shot. Arriving officers found a 47-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his torso. Seattle Fire Department medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center with possibly life-threatening injuries.
According to witnesses, the shooting took place outside and the suspect fled in a vehicle.
