#2022-236374/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 09-05-2022 at 0611 hours, officers responded to an armed robbery call that just occurred in the area of Aurora AV N and N 105 ST. The victim was robbed of cash at gun point but was able to follow the suspect vehicle. A responding patrol unit located the suspect vehicle in a nearby apartment complex, but it was not occupied. A gun could be seen inside the vehicle. The suspects were not located. Robbery unit was notified, and the vehicle was impounded.

#2022-9236391/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 09-05-2022 at 0641 hours, officers responded to a report of a male standing in the middle of the street harming himself. Officers located the male in Belltown and formed a contact team. A Taser deployment was used to stop the male from self-harm. SPD EMTs applied tourniquets and compression bandages. SFD Medic 1 transported to HMC. Level II Blue Team.

#2022-236413/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 09-05-2022 at 0732 hours, KCSO requested assistance with a subject who was in an intersection waving a knife. Subject shouted threats ‘who will die first’. Officers joined KCSO to detain the subject and ended up following him for several blocks. In an attempt to stop the subject, an SPD officer deployed his Taser to negative effect. Two blocks later, a KCSO deputy deployed his Taser, and the subject was taken into custody. AMR transported for ITA. KCSO primary agency. Level II Use of Force.

#2022-236724/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 09-05-2022 at 1341 hours, witnesses reported that a resident of an encampment exited his tent and fired 4-5 rounds into the hillside. Witnesses said the suspect collected the brass, and either left or entered one of the RVs at the camp. Officer conducted search of the camp and found no victims, suspects or evidence.

#2022-236961/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 09-05-2022 at 1822 hours, a 16-year-old male was driving a 2014 Ford Mustang westbound in the 100 block of Edgar Martinez Dr. S. At the same time, a SPD Traffic Officer was flagging traffic at the Mariners game at the intersection of Edgar Martinez Dr. S and Occidental Ave S. The driver struck the officer, who sustained injuries to his shoulder and leg. The officer was alert and conscious and was transported to HMC. The driver of the vehicle was evaluated by a DRE from the King County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy believed the driver was impaired. The driver was arrested and processed for DUI. TCIS responded and processed the scene.
