#2022-235251/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 09-04-2022 at 0014 hours, officers responded to 2600 BLK Alki AVE SW to a report of a robbery at gunpoint. Officers contacted the victim who reported the incident had occurred a distance away with about a 15-minute time delay. Victim said he stopped at 7-11 at 2429 Harbor AVE SW and was approached by two males who asked for a light. One of the men then pointed a black handgun at victim and demanded his jewelry. Suspects fled on foot. No K-9 track was possible.

On 09-04-2022 at 0429 hours, officers responded to a shots fired call originating at 4805 S Chicago St. Several more calls came in regarding the gun fire. An area check was done, and evidence of a shooting was located at 48 Ave S / S Holden St. A fresh set of tire marks about 20Ft long on the west side of the roundabout were present accompanied by the smell of burning rubber. No suspect vehicle described or located. Evidence was collected. No property damage was located at the time of the investigation.
#2022-235465/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 09-04-2022 at 0720 hours, officers responded to reports of shots being fired at 2 Ave / Cedar St. Upon officers’ arrival, multiple subjects were seen fleeing the scene. Evidence was recovered at the scene. While officers were conducting their investigation, the victim returned and informed officers that she had been robbed and held against her will. The victim also stated that she had been pulled from her vehicle and held on the ground at gun point. The victim stated that her legs were run over by a fleeing vehicle. The male who drove the victim back to the scene matched the description of one of two shooters. The male was removed from his vehicle and a black handgun was observed under his seat in the vehicle. Additional evidence was recovered at the scene. The male driver was under the influence. The male was processed for DUI and booked for the DUI and unlawful discharge of a weapon.
#2022-235629/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
On 09-04-2022 at 1200 hours, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle, and the driver was placed into custody. After search incident to arrest 33.7 grams of Fentanyl (approx. 300 pills) were recovered as well as 3 grams of Meth. Narcotics was notified. Suspect was booked into KCJ.
#2022-235865/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 09-04-2022 at 1704 hours, a victim and suspect met at a local bar and began a conversation. During the conversation the suspect used a racial slur. The victim requested the suspect stop using the racial slur. The suspect became agitated and increased the frequency of using the slur. The two continued to drink and without warning, the suspect punched the victim two times in the head. The suspect fled the scene after the assault. An area check for the suspect was negative. The required notifications were made.
