#2022-246289/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 09-15-2022 at 0033 hours, officers responded to the area of 12 Av and E Spruce St for a vehicle versus motorcycle collision. Officers arrived and found the driver of the motorcycle with serious injuries to his legs. The driver of the vehicle was believed to be impaired by alcohol and/or drugs. The driver was arrested and processed for vehicular assault. The motorcycle driver was transported to HMC by Medic One. The incident was screened with TCIS.
#2022-246318/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 09-15-2022 at 0152 hours, officers were near 36 Av S/S Adams St when they heard a single gunshot just west of their location. Officers responded a located evidence of a shooting in the alley behind The Golden Smoke Shop just west of Rainier Av S. No victims or property damage were located. GVRU was notified.
#2022-246738/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1329 hours officers arrived with SFD personnel at the corner of 5th Ave/Olive WY to check on a downed male who was possibly overdosing. SFD personnel began medically evaluating the male suspect. As one of the SFD personnel placed the blood pressure cuff onto the suspect, the suspect jumped up and swung a closed fist at the SFD personnel. Officers responded and prevented injury to SFD personnel. The suspect was taken into custody without incident for assault and subsequently booked into KCJ.
#2022-247187/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 2220 hours officers responded to a bias crime in the 12000 Block of 15 AV NE. Through their investigation they learned a possible known suspect damaged the victim’s door by burning a derogatory word. Notifications were made.
