#2022-247329/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 09-16-2022 at 0450 hours, officers responded to the area of 9 Ave S / S Jackson St for reported shots heard in the area. Officers located evidence of a shooting in the intersection. A witness described an older vehicle doing donuts in the street then shooting towards a building on the north side of the intersection before leaving the area eastbound. No victims were located and no damage to the building was found.
#2022-248251/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2324 hours, officers responded to the 2700 block of Alki AVE SW to a report of a shot fired through an apartment window. A single round came through a kitchen window, embedding in an interior wall. Officers located evidence of a shooting and were given a loose vehicle description. Patrol processed the scene. GVRU notified.
