A 49-year-old woman was injured in a shooting in South Seattle early Monday morning.
Around 1:45 AM, the victim and a man were in a vehicle, stopped at a stop sign at Rainier Avenue South and South Othello Street, when another vehicle pulled alongside them.
Two occupants of the second vehicle opened fire, striking the 49-year-old woman, and drove away.
The 49-year-old woman’s male companion drove them to the 7200 block of Rainier Avenue South where they were met by officers. Medics transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
