#2022-276903/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-15-2022 at 0054 hours, officers heard multiple shots coming from the Holly Park Neighborhood. Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of a shooting, but no property damage, victims, or suspects were located. The scene was photographed, and evidence was collected.

#2022-276936/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0145 hours, officers responded to 9000 block 8 AVE S to a report of shots. Suspect fired five rounds into a stop sign from the back seat of a vehicle before the vehicle sped away. Officers located evidence of a shooting. The scene processed by patrol, GVRU advised.

#2022-276953/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0208 hours, officers were called to the 1600 block of Melrose AV for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting in the street. Witnesses stated that a male was seen running northbound on Melrose firing at an unknown person or object. There were no victims or property damage located. An area check for the suspect was negative. Officers processed the scene. GVRU was notified.

#2022-277024/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0419 hours, SPD 12/Jackson emphasis officers and Seattle Fire Medic One responded to an encampment in the area of 8 Av S and S Lane St regarding a male potentially overdosing and not breathing. Medic One performed CPR and applied Narcan. SPD provided scene security. After Medic One brought him back, the male got angry at all first responders and refused further services. SFD and SPD left the area without incident.

#2022-277342/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1245 hours, an officer was in the process of booking a suspect for assault 4th (see Incident #2022-277283). While in the holding area of KCJ the suspect spat in the officer’s mouth. KCJ declined booking because the suspect was too agitated. The suspect was taken to HMC for a medical evaluation and placed under guard to be booked later.

#2022-277355/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1303 hours, callers reported hearing multiple shots near the intersection of N 110th Street and Fremont Ave N. (22-277355). Two vehicles were described fleeing the area eastbound. Officers responded to the scene, many coming from the east. The vehicles were not observed by those responding officers. Investigation at the scene located evidence of a shooting in front of a residence south of the intersection. Shattered window glass was also present, however no involved parties were located. Neighbors believed a nearby RV was involved. About 45 minutes later, a 17-year-old victim was dropped at Swedish Ballard with gunshot wounds to both legs and an arm (22-277401). The wounds were initially thought to be life-threatening, and the victim was transported to HMC. On arrival at HMC, the victim was stabilized and is expected to survive.

#2022277615/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1838 hours, officers were called to the area of a restaurant located next to Victor Steinbruck Park for a male refusing to leave and threatening to kill patrons and passersby. Upon arrival officers observed several people loitering behind a fence meant to keep people away from restricted areas of the park. The lock to the gate had been cut and several people were trespassing in the restricted area. Officers entered the area and advised the trespassers to leave. The highly intoxicated male suspect aggressively approached the officers and told them to leave. The officers explained he was trespassing, but the male refused to leave. He continued to posture and aggressively move into the officers’ direction while threatening to kill them. While officers were taking the suspect into custody for harassment and trespassing, the suspect assaulted them by biting one officer on the forearm and kicking another officer. The officers placed the suspect under arrest, and the suspect was subsequently booked into KCJ. Lt. screened this incident.
