#2022-295504/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-03-2022 at 0233 hours, an officer was at Harborview Medical Center getting a blood draw done for a DUI investigation. The DUI suspect became agitated and threatened to stab a nurse with a needle. Multiple SPD officers were able to get the suspect under control, but one officer was spit on. The suspect was booked into KCJ on 2 counts of Assault 3 and DUI.

#2022-295890/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1231 hours, officers were dispatched to 500 Pine St (Nordstrom) regarding a suspicious package. Seattle Fire Dept Hazmat team responded and tested the contents of the package. Once it was determined the package did not contain anything harmful, it was placed into evidence.

#2022-296123/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1650 hours, officers observed a white Cadillac towing a small boat in Ballard. A check of the license plate showed the trailer as stolen. Officers attempted to initiate a stop, but the suspect fled, and officers immediately terminated. The suspect stopped a short distance away and briefly exited the vehicle and appeared to be about to flee on foot. As officers saw this, they approached the car and trailer. The suspect ran back to the vehicle and fled in it again, resulting in officers terminating their attempt to apprehend for the second time. The suspect fled eastbound and attempted to make a turn onto 8th Ave NW. In doing so, the Cadillac struck an occupied Prius and then multiple other parked cars, causing the boat and trailer to overturn onto a sidewalk. The Prius operator sustained a non-life-threatening injury to his hand. After the Cadillac was completely disabled, the suspect abandoned it and fled on foot but was apprehended by incoming officers within about one hundred feet of the collision scene. The suspect was hospitalized with a guard detail. Potential charges include Possession of a Stolen Vehicle (x2), Eluding Law Enforcement, Vehicular Assault, and Hit & Run (Felony). Additionally, evidence of impairment was detected at the scene and a DUI investigation was initiated.

#2022-296193/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1811 hours, officers were dispatched to a crisis call located on Aurora Ave N. The subject was running around in the lanes of traffic and eventually damaging a citizen’s vehicle. The subject later went down in the middle of the roadway refusing to move. This caused a full closure of south bound traffic on Aurora Ave N. The subject was possibly under the influence of narcotics at the time. Seattle Fire responded and rendered assistance. The subject was transported to HMC for an ITA without incident.

#2022-296360/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2204 hours, officers responded to a marijuana retailer for an armed robbery with guns displayed. Two armed males entered and were able to leave with cash and marijuana. No employees were injured, and the suspects were not located. Robbery was advised of the incident.
