#2022-304758/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-13-2022 at 0001 hours, officers responded to the 900 block of 12 AV for shots fired and a large fight in the street at a local bar. Officers arrived to discover a large group of intoxicated people who were uncooperative with the investigation. Evidence of a shooting was recovered in the street. The consensus is that a disturbance started indoors and spilled into the street where 1 party retrieved a firearm from a vehicle and shot it in the air twice before returning to the vehicle and leaving. No victims or suspects were identified.
#2022-304995/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0855 hours, a driver had a medical issue which resulted in him driving his pickup into the corner of a business. The business closed due to the damage and a broken water line. The driver was transported to the hospital.
#2022-305063/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 1042 hours, an 83-year-old female victim was near her vehicle at the 9000 BLK of Olson PL SW. A suspect asked the victim for a cigarette, and she said told him she doesn’t smoke. The victim got inside her vehicle. The victim had her key on her pinky finger. The suspect reached inside the car and attempted to rip the key from the victim’s finger. The suspect then grabbed the elderly female and threw her to the ground. The suspect stole the victim’s vehicle and left in an unknown direction. The 83-year-old victim suffered a deep laceration to her arm from the assault. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Guardian 1 wasn’t in service. An extensive area search was done but neither the vehicle nor suspect was located.
#2022-305283/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1609 hours, a suspect randomly assaulted (spitting on & striking) multiple people on the street. Victims/witnesses flagged down officers and pointed out suspect. Suspect fled on foot and ran directly into an officer trying to stop him, causing apparent minor injuries to the officer. Taser deployments occurred and suspect was taken into custody.
#2022-305361/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1749 hours, officers responded to investigate a Hit and Run Traffic Collision in the area of 35 Av Sw/Sw Holly St. Officers contacted the victim and was advised that the suspect’s vehicle was parked in a residential driveway near an alley. Officers went to the suspect’s vehicle to investigation the damage to his vehicle. As the officers were looking at the suspect’s vehicle, the suspect came out of the residence with a loaded rifle. Officers announced multiple times that they were “Seattle Police”, but the suspect continued to approach the officers with the rifle, while aiming the rifle at the officers. At one point, the suspect racked a round in his rifle. The suspect finally stopped and placed the rifle on the ground. The suspect was placed into custody for Assault 1.
