#2022-310660/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 11-19-2022 at 0438 hours, a victim stated that about 20 minutes prior he was at the 9400 BLK of Delridge WY SW in front of the Triangle Pub. The victim stated that three to four males walked up to him and said, “F___ you!”. One of the suspects then shot the victim. The victim was shot in the knee area. The victim was intoxicated, and he was transported to HMC. Officers canvassed the area for evidence and suspects. GVRU was notified.
#2022-310827/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0955 hours, a pedestrian was crossing at the 4300 BLK of Erskine Way SW and was struck by a vehicle travelling slow speeds. The pedestrian had injuries and was transported to HMC by MEDIC 1. The driver didn’t commit any crime and was released at the scene. TCIS was notified about the collision.
#2022-310977/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1300 hours, witnesses reported seeing a speeding SUV travelling northbound in the 700 block 4 Av N. The SUV hit several parked/unoccupied vehicles then continued into the next block and struck a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk. The vehicle became disabled only after striking four additional parked/unoccupied vehicles. The 91-year-old female pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries. She was transported to HMC in critical condition. The adult male driver was evaluated by a drug recognition expert who deemed the driver to be impaired. The driver was placed under arrest and was expected to be booked into KCJ for Inv. of Vehicular Assault once medically cleared by HMC medical personnel.
#2022-311136/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1630 hours, NW Hospital staff called reporting a male suspect in the ER threatening a doctor with a knife. Officers responded to the hospital and located the suspect near the hospital and detained him. The investigation revealed that an on-duty doctor was in a room with the suspect. At one point the suspect became upset, produced a fixed blade knife, and lunged at the doctor with it. The doctor fled from the room fearing she would be stabbed. Hospital security intervened and the suspect fled the hospital on foot. The suspect was arrested and booked for felony assault. Homicide notified.
#2022-311252/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1841 hours, officers were flagged down by an injured male who reported the following: He was crossing the street on his bike when a car started to honk its horn at him. The victim threw up his arms when the suspect honked his horn. The suspect then exited the vehicle and pulled out a pistol and struck the victim in the head with the butt of the pistol and then made threats to kill the victim. The suspect then got into his vehicle and drove off running over the victim’s bicycle. An area check was conducted.
#2022-311273/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1904 hours, officers responded to a disturbance in the area of the Pike Place Market. Upon arrival the officers contacted the suspect in the stairwell of the market. Market security requested the suspect trespassed. As officers were escorting the suspect off the property, the suspect struck one of the officers in the face with a closed fist. Officers conducted a controlled takedown of the suspect to place him under arrest for assault. As officers were in the process of placing the suspect into handcuffs, the suspect kicked at the officers and struck the same officer in the temple with his foot. The officer suffered minor injuries from the assault. The suspect was subsequently booked into KCJ. Lt was notified.
