#2023-024792/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
On 01-26-2023 at 1128 hours, one male suspect entered a bank in the 4000 block of SW Alaska ST and handed the bank teller a note that instructed her to give him the money. No weapon was seen or implied. The suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival. An area check and a K9 track were negative. Robbery Unit was notified.
#2023-025306/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2024 hours, officers responded to a report of a subject in crisis inside a private business stating he was the mayor and governor and refusing to leave. Officers contacted the subject and got him to agree to speak with them outside the business. Officers determined the subject met criteria for an Emergent Detention. While waiting for AMR the subject attempted to go back into the business. Officers apprehended the suspect, and he was transported to a hospital for ITA. Type 2 Use of Force investigation was initiated. A/LT. was notified.
#2023-025336/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2106 hours, calls were received reporting several shots fired. Officers located and recovered evidence of a shooting in the 1800 Block of 23 Ave (Alley to the East). No property damaged/persons injured.
