#2023-033132/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 02-04-2023 at 0416 hours, officers responded to multiple calls about shots fired at 50th & Genesee. 6 minutes later multiple callers for another shots fired call at 9061 Lake Washington Blvd S. The Security guard called because 2 rounds went through the guard shack damaging the windows. A resident came out and told the guard her apartment had been struck as well, but her apartment location was not provided to the guard or officers. Evidence of a shooting was located at the 9061 LW Blvd Scene. At 0431 hours at 61 & Norfolk multiple callers again called about shots fired. No evidence of a shooting was located at the Genesee or the Norfolk locations. All 3 calls had reports of two vehicles fleeing. The 3 shooting calls may have been connected in a rolling shoot out based on time & proximity. Evidence recovered.
#2023-033466/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1357 hours, officers responded to the area of 3rd Avenue and Cherry Street regarding a shooting. It was reported by a passing security guard that an unknown male was armed with a handgun, had shot another unknown male on the sidewalk. Arriving officers did not locate any victims and/or any sign that a shooting had taken place. While checking the location, officer located evidence of a shooting on the sidewalk in front of 619 3rd Avenue. No blood was located on the ground and there were no indications anyone had actually been shot. The surrounding tents on the block were checked for any victims and/or witnesses and none were found. A local business employee was located and advised he witnessed several unknown people physically fighting at the location where the shooting evidence was located and one shot was heard. Local hospitals were checked for any victims, and none were located. Scene was processed by patrol.
#2023-033665/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1800 hours, a female arrived at her residence on the 800 block of NE 115 ST. She parked her vehicle and exited her 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV. As she exited her vehicle, two unknown males approached her. One of the males produced a handgun and pointed it to her chest. Suspect demanded her vehicle, or she would be shot. Suspect was with an accomplice and they both jumped into the victim’s car and fled east on NE 115 ST. Victim was not injured and only provided the description of two unknown males. One was wearing a red hoodie and the other a white hoodie.
