Seattle Police received a 911 call about males fighting in front of a business late Thursday afternoon.
When officers arrived at about 05:45 p.m. in the 11700 block of Aurora Avenue North, they located a man with a non-life-threatening cut to his face. The Seattle Fire Department responded and provided medical care on scene and later transported the man to Harborview Medical Center.
The 52-year-old male victim told officers that a known man assaulted him with a knife for unknown reasons. After the assault, the suspect left, walking northbound from the location. The victim described the suspect as a man in his 40s with thinning brown hair, wearing a tan jacket.
SPD Detectives will lead the ongoing investigation.
