UPDATE: 03/11/2023 at 2:00 p.m.
Seattle Police Detectives located two suspects involved in the 3rd Avenue and Bell Street shooting that occurred earlier this week on Monday.
With assistance from Major Crimes Task Force and SPD SWAT, the 43-year-old male suspect was arrested for murder and unlawful possession of a firearm. The 32-year-old female suspect was arrested for rendering criminal assistance. Both suspects were booked into King County Jail.
Seattle Police officers responded to shots heard.
Officers arrived at about 04:30 a.m. near the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Bell Street locating a victim that appeared to have been shot. Officers rendered aid as Seattle Fire Department personnel were enroute to the scene.
SFD later transported the 37-year-old male victim to Harborview Medical Center. As the victim was receiving medical treatment at the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently unknown.
SPD Homicide Detectives will be leading the investigation.
