#2023-094592/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 4-8-2023 at 0215 hours, officers responded to a call of several shots heard near a Belltown nightclub. As the suspects were leaving an adjacent parking lot, they struck an unoccupied parked vehicle, switched driver and passenger, then fled the area southbound firing shots in the air out the window of the vehicle. Officers located evidence of a shooting. No injuries or victims were located other than the victim vehicle in the hit and run.
#2023-094606/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0244 hours, officers responded to an assault in the 500 block of Broadway. As the victim tried to intervene in a physical altercation involving two men and a woman, one of the suspects got out of the car and threatened to shoot the victim, then assaulted him. The suspect pulled out a gun and fired a shot, then ran back to the vehicle which fled the area. No injuries reported. Evidence was found and collected at the scene.
#2023-095267/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2042 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of a man with a gun. Officers arrived and learned that the suspect shot a gun into the air several times as he left the area in his vehicle. Security had removed the suspect from the business and he brandished a handgun as he was leaving. The suspect did not make any threats and was not found. No scene was located.
