A car fire Sunday afternoon ended in an arrest after South Precinct officers determined the fire was intentionally set.
Just after 4 p.m., police arrived in the 4500 block of South Henderson Street to assist the Seattle Fire Department with a vehicle fire.
Based on evidence collected at the scene, as well as a witness who saw the suspect in the car prior to the fire, officers took a man into custody.
Detectives from the SPD Arson and Bomb Squad also responded and processed the scene.
Police booked the 42-year-old suspect into the King County Jail for investigation of arson.
