Police are investigating an overnight shooting in the Delridge neighborhood of West Seattle which left one person dead early Monday.
Just after 3:00 a.m., officers arrived in the 9200 block of 15th Avenue SW and found a male lying in the road with a suspected gunshot wound. Despite lifesaving efforts by police and Seattle Fire, the 41-year-old victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Homicide Detectives responded and will lead the investigation. Members of SPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit also responded to process the scene for evidence.
