#2023-138117/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 5-20-2023 at 0013 hours, officers arrived on a hit-and-run to a pedestrian sleeping in an alleyway. The victim was transported to HMC with lower leg injuries, and the suspect vehicle left in an unknown direction.

#2023-138122/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0015 hours, police contacted the victim of a robbery which occurred in the area of 8th Avenue S/S Sullivan Street as she got off a bus. The victim’s purse containing ID card, credit cards, and about $200 in cash was taken.

#2023-138167/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0116 hours, officers responded to a road rage incident in which one driver shot at another driver. Officers located the suspect vehicle and detained the two occupants. Patrol located evidence of a shooting as specified by the victim and recovered a gun from the car. The driver was booked into KCJ for investigation of assault and an unrelated harassment.

#2023-138199/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0200 hours, officers responded to a disturbance call after the victims reported the suspect was stabbing their apartment door with a knife. Police established probable cause to arrest the suspect for a hate crime and took him into custody. He was booked into KCJ for investigation of hate crime.

#2023-138450/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 0928 hours, a customer found a military type ammo can with suspicious items inside at a second-hand store. The can was placed in a safe location. Patrol responded and requested SPD ABS who examined the suspicious package and found that it was not hazardous.

#2023-139088/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2145 hours, officers were dispatched to the report of a DV disturbance and found the victim with several lacerations. The victim said the suspect cut her during an argument before leaving the scene. The suspect was located nearby and taken into custody, then booked for DV assault and court order violation.

#2023-139110/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2204 hours, a witness observed a group of teens lighting fireworks at Magnuson Park, which eventually led to a fireworks-fueled explosion inside a portable bathroom. Due to the large crowds at the park, the witness was unable to point out any of the suspects.

#2023-139106/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2222 hours, officers responded to an assault on a bus with a victim who was pepper sprayed. While on scene investigating, the victim assaulted an officer for no apparent reason. The assault victim, who was now a suspect in the assault on officers, was booked into KCJ.

#2023-139144/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2242 hours, a large group approached, then chased, the victim as he was leaving Magnuson Park. Once they caught up to the victim, the main suspect demanded his property, then stole his phone, charger, and earbuds at gunpoint. The suspects were not located.

#2023-139177/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2324 hours, police responded to an apartment complex for a stabbing. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening wound to the chest, was treated on scene by Seattle Fire, and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officers checked the area for the suspect but did not find him.

#2023-139193/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2350 hours, officers were dispatched to an armed carjacking and found the victim bleeding from his right arm. The victim was sliced with a knife and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. After the suspect cut the victim, they took his vehicle and left the scene.
