2023-185301/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 7-2-2023 at 1106 hours, police contacted a female who was robbed at gunpoint by two suspects in the area of 1200 S Dearborn Street. Officers checked an encampment for the suspects with negative results.
2023-185435/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1401 hours, officers responded to an altercation between a male and female with a shot fired. Officers found and detained both parties involved and recovered a handgun. The female was arrested and booked for felony assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. No one was injured during this incident.
#2023-185825/Third Watch/South Precinct:
At 2154 hours, officers heard gunfire coming from the area of 36th Avenue S and S Adams Street. Police arrived and located a victim in a vehicle with a gunshot wound, then provided lifesaving aid until SFD arrived. Two vehicles, a building, and a residence were struck by gunfire. The victim was transported to HMC via Medic One.
